Cabrach Reconnections

Since 2021 Mary Bourne has been collaborating with fellow Moray-based artist, Lynne Strachan on this multifaceted artists’ exploration of The Cabrach, a remote depopulated area of desolate beauty situated on the northernmost fringe of the Cairngorms National Park.  The project has looked back to understand how the history of the area has impacted on the present for its communities, as well as considering current and future developments such as the coming of large scale wind farms.
