Lockdown|Locality
During lockdown, in common with most other people, Mary walked and walked. For once she had time and headspace to look and think as she walked, and through the media of photography and drawing she began to explore the markers in the landscape that indicate how the people that live there interact with their environment. In time these explorations grew into sculptures that sparked a new direction in her work.
Lockdown Locket – made as part of The Royal Society of Sculptors/Milwyn Bronze 10g Challenge.
